Who We Are

At Our Core

Reclaiming Wholeness LLC was conceived in late 2014, and legally formed in September 2016. Our ultimate desire is to help improve the overall well-being of people through the power of the Holy Spirit, resulting in healthy marriages, families, and communities.

Our vision is to see individuals and marriages thriving as a result of living with Jesus Christ as their center of wholeness.

Our mission is to reclaim what’s been lost, stolen, killed, or destroyed in the lives of individuals and their marriages.

We aspire to interact with all those whom we come in contact with by following the example of Jesus expressing these values in all that we do: Love Peace Joy Hope Community Respect Integrity

What We Believe

We believe there is one true God as experienced through God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Spirit (Holy Spirit). We believe that God is active in the world today, desires an intimate relationship with us, and wants us to put Him at the center of our lives. We believe the Bible is God’s message to us, showing us who He is, and how He wants us to live and relate to Him. We believe that the Bible was inspired by the Holy Spirit and that it was written without error in the original manuscripts. It is the supreme and final authority in all matters on which it speaks.

Based on this, we believe that God intends marriage to be between one man and one woman for life. We recognize that there are many forces that interfere with God’s intent being fulfilled. We believe that Jesus has authority over heaven and earth, and that He overcomes all opposition to marriage when the married couple allows Him to infiltrate their life and marriage.

We believe that those who accept Jesus Christ as their savior and invite Jesus into their heart and life to lead them as their Lord, have the Holy Spirit living in them, making them whole and complete. They take on a new identity in Christ even if it is not immediately apparent and expressed outwardly. The Holy Spirit changes the person from the inside out, resulting in the outward expression of their new identity in a way and time that is unique for each individual. For this to occur, we believe each person has a choice as to whether to allow the Holy Spirit to make this transformation. The choice includes turning away from behavior that separates them from God (“sin”), inviting Jesus into their hearts to heal past wounds, and living in a way that honors God and puts their relationship with Him above all else.

We believe that God works through those who believe in and follow Jesus, exercising the authority given to them by Jesus to overcome that which opposes God and God’s desire for those who give their life to Him. We believe that the authority of Jesus has the power to release those who are held captive by something spiritual, emotional, physical, or relational. When Jesus is invited into these places of brokenness, healing and freedom occurs.

Guiding Scriptures

Several Scripture verses serve as the foundation of the work being done through Reclaiming Wholeness, including (emphasis added in bold):

Jesus said: The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it [life] more abundantly. John 10:10 (NKJV)

Jesus Said: For the Son of Man [Jesus] has come to save that which was lost. Matthew 18:11 (NKJV)

When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole? (KJV) or When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well? (NKJV) John 5:6

Jesus said: “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world. John 16:33 (NIV)

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20 (NIV)

Jesus said: And these things will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well. Mark 16:17,18 (NIV)

Jesus said: And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask for anything in my name, and I will do it. John 14:13,14 (NIV)

For everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well…for everyone born of God overcomes the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.
1 John 5:1, 4, 5 (NIV)
