On this day, people around the world are preparing to celebrate the birth of Jesus, the most influential person who ever lived and who continues to have impact on the lives of people today.

His birth was predicted about 700 years earlier.

Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel [which means God with us]. (Isaiah 7:14)

His name spoke of His destiny and God’s promise to us.

She [The Virgin Mary] will give birth to a son, and you [Joseph] are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins. (Matthew 1:21)

His birth happened.

The shepherds were told: Today in the town of David [Bethlehem] a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.    (Luke 2:11)

The world would never be the same.

Jesus said: I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world. (John 16:33)

He carries our burdens and gives us rest.

Jesus said: Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28)

Jesus is THE key to a successful marriage.

When you put Jesus at the center of your life and marriage, you can be at peace through all of life’s challenges. It’s not always easy, but He gives us the strength to endure and the ability to overcome. If you don’t know Jesus, connect with us or someone who is grounded biblically to guide you in discovering Him so that you can decide whether to follow Jesus.

If you have already professed allegiance to Jesus, explore how you can deepen your faith and have an active relationship with Him to live out your faith in your life and marriage. Based on our experience, we believe Jesus at the center is THE key to a successful marriage. We hope you choose to do the same.

Merry Christmas!
